Dr. Salah Hassan, DVM has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 35 years in his multi-international veterinary clinics, 2 of them currently in the state of New York.
He graduated in 1982 from Cairo University with a DVM degree. He then joined the Egyptian Army Special forces to work at the War Dog's Hospital. He moved to U.S.A. in order to obtain his veterinary license to practice veterinary medicine in New York state.
Dr. Salah Hassan made a breakthrough in Canine hip replacement technique. In 1988, Dr. Hassan also invented the nail caps for cats and dogs under the Salah's Caps name, known as "Soft Paws". The nail caps were meant to be a substitution to declawing surgery to save cat claws and prevent furniture and skin damages by cat's claws.
